Mr Facing Both Ways.
MR BALLANCE’S CHANGE OF FRONT, . , Wellington; Last Night. Mr Ballance appears last evening as a cor. respondent to the Post, giving an account of the Genesis (?) of his opinion on Protection and Freetrade from 1878 down to the present time. The editor of the Post cites several passages to show that the Minister of Lands was, at the dates given, a pronbutided Freetrader.
