Accounts from all over the United Kingdom unite in agreeing as to the great and enthusiastic loyalty displayed upon the occa* sion of the Jubilee. Special services were held in all the Cathedrals, and the civic and general celebrations have been on a scale of great magnificence. Large donations to local charities are reported from several towns in honour of the Jubilee,
Her Majesty has received congratulations and presents from nearly all the crowned heads of Europe. All business is suspended, and the testimonies of loyalty have been very general. The Royal procession is said to have been the most gorgeous spectacle ever witnessed in the Metrepolis. In the lower parts of London and the great provincial cities immense numbers of the poor have been supplied with dinners, and large donations have been made for charitable purposes. LATEST. ILLUMINATIONS IN LONDON. OVATION TO THE QUEEN. LONDON’S TWO MILLION VISITORS. RUSSIA & FRANCE EULOGISTIC. London, June 21. May Fair and Belgravia have been illuminated with a fiery band. The whole city has been wonderfully illuminated, and has a bright and pleasant appearance. Her Majesty received a tremendous ovation on her arrival in London. It is estimated that at present there are two million visitors In London. Even the Russian and French Press eulogise Her Majesty, and admit the great progress that has been made by Great Britain.
