The Irish Question.
DAVITT AT BODYKE. London, June 15. After evading the police at Bodyke, County Clare, Michael Davitt held a meeting at Clare. At the meeting sharp fighting took place between the police and the mob. Many of the latter were arrested. Davitt will probably be arrested on account of his recent incendiary speeches. MORE ACCUSATIONS BY THE TIMES. The Times alleges that Mr Parnell remitted Frank Byrne money which enabled him to escape to France in 1883. It is also believed that Patrick Egan supplied the Invincibles with money collected by the Land League. On obstruction Mr Gladstone has published a letter in which he says he never encouraged obstruction in the House of Commons, but on the other hand had endeavored to assist the Government who had shown great incompetence in the management of their parliamentary duties.
