The Greymouth Waterside Workers’ Union sought affiliation with the Association, so as to participate in the Association’s Saturday competition. The application gave rise to considerable discussion on the acute shortage of grounds, due to' the increase in the clubs competing, the formation of the Boys’ Association, and the prospect in the immediate future of games between the various Workingmen’s Clubs. The application, however, was granted. Arising from the discussion, it was decided to write to the R-unanga Club to ascertain the possibility of their ground being put in suitable condition in the immediate future.
Arrangements were finalised to commence the Boys’ Association on Saturday next, November 27. It was decided to 1 assemble the boys on the Recreation Ground for grading purposes, and then to hold a screening of the N.Z. Cricket Council’s coaching film at the United Pavilion.

It was decided to circularise all clubs with a direction to -make a check as to the qualifications of all players, and to have everything in order by the commencement of the main competition, after which all breaches would be penalised as the rules provide.
It was decided to communicate with one club in regard to a representative player participating in Saturday junior games. ft was decided to inform the Camerons Club that they are to play with their mat right-side-up, and properly stretched and pegged, and not upside down and loose.
