U.N. COUNCIL PRESIDENT SATISFIED WITH SOVIET’S REPLY ON BERLIN

FARIS, Nov. 22.

Dr. Bramuglia, U.N.O. Security Council president, said the Russian answer to his Berlin currency questionnaire, “appears to be satisfactory.” He added that a comparison with the Western Powers’ reply, which is expected to be delivered to him later to-day, is necessary before he can say whether a basis for agreement has been reached.

Dr Bramuglia said that as soon as the Western Powers’ reply was received he would convoke the six “neutrals” for an immediate session, because time was pressing, and the search for a solution had been delayed for over a week.
