Indian Constitution
(From Reuter correspondent London) Representatives of Indian political and students organisations in London have decided to hold, an Indian political! conference in London next month to consider the proposed new Constitution for India. The conference which will be held at Swaraj House, London, will be convened by Dr. N. Gangulee, the Indian economist and author, Mr K. L. Jalie, secretary of Swaraj House; Chowday Akbar Khan; Mr Iqbal Singh; Mr B. B. Ray Chaurhuri, Secretary of the Indian Workers Association of London; Mr S. B. Khan, President of the Indo-Pakistan Unity Front; and Mr V. H. Kirpalam, president of the Oxford University, Ma i lis ' - T , j r<Besides discussion on India s draft Constitution, the conference will discuss the formation of a Federation ol Indian Political Organisations in Great Britain. Delegates representing Indian organisations in Birmingham, Coventry, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Manchester will take part in the conference, which will continue for two days. The opening session will be addressed by Mr W. G. Cove, Mr Fenner Brockway, and other British Members of Parliament and Socialist leaders.
