Efforts At Balkan Settlement
LONDON, Nov. 16 Representatives of Greece, Yugoslavia Bulgaria and Albania conferred with Dr Evatt, M. Lie and M. Selim Sarper (Turkey) in the first direct attempt to end the Balkan crisis by mediation. An official communique said: “An informal discussion was held in an atmosphere of practical conciliation. A further meeting will be held tomorrow.” ——
