No Answer For Monkeys!
LONDON. Nov. 15. __ The Minister of Supply, Mr G. Strauss, refused to tell the House ot Commons why 250 monkeys have been brought from Calcutta, for Jus Department. It would not be in the public interest to disclose the reason, he said, in repl> to questions, excent that the animals were wanted for research purposes. Mr Emrys Hughes '.Labour) asked if they were brought lor bacteriological experiments in warfare, but the Minister gave no further answer. _____
