HEAVY FIGHTING NEAR LEBANON
(Rec. 11.30). LONDON, October 13. The British United Press correspondent at Haifa says that United Nations’ truce observers report heavy fighting in the Tarishina area, near the Lebanon frontier, where they say 2000 Jews attacked Arab positions. The Central Palestine Arab Refugees’ Aid Committee announced that* Arab refugees in Lebanon totalled 117,000.
