P.A. GISBORNE, Oct. 13. Three men, who were seen by a Gisborne angler dynamiting for trout in the Waioeka River on March 27, were each convicted and lined £lO and costs by the Magistrate, Mr E. L. Walton. S.M., to-day. They were William Robert Wilson, Kepa Wilson and Pera Thompson, each of whom admitted charges of using an explosive to catch or destroy fish, and taking trout by use of explosives.
