N.Z. Dogs Win Trials at Canberra
P.A. WELLINGTON, Oct. 12 Mr W. Cuthbertson, Takapau, secretary of the New Zealand Sheep Dog Trial Association has received cabled advice from Canberra that the final of the National Sheepdog trial held on October 9 resulted in an exciting finish between A. P. Butler’s “Johnnie" and Harry Harris’s (Taihape) “Border Fay.” Butler’s dog was placed first, and Harris’s “Border Fay” second.
