De Valera’s AntiPartition Campaign
LONDON. Oct. 11. Mr de Valera opened a campaign in Britain against the partition of Ireland with a press conference at Liverpool, at which he said that partition was the one remaining point of difference between Britain and Eire. Mr de Valera, said that 'the myth had been carefully propagated sinr» the Government of Ireland Act, 1920, that an area in Ireland wanted to be senarated from the rest df the country. He wanted the British people to see the truth, which was thatjQnly In Antrim and Belfast was there' a local maioritv against union with Fire. He will travel all over Britain, speaking at Glasgow next week-end. and later at Cardiff. Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and London
