Woman Found Drowned

A well-known resident of Westport, Mrs Florence Hart, aged 63 years, died in distressing circumstances on Sunday morning. She had Deen m ui...(uui lor. some time, and had left the residence of her daughter, Mrs J. itae, Domett Street. Some time later she was found drowned in Eastons Creek, near the old trotting track. An inquest was opened on Sunday and adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given. The late Mrs Hart had lived in Westport for many years. Her husband, the late Mr W. J- Hart, who died some years ago, was a wellknown Buller sportsman and was in business in Westport as a tailor. Mrs Hart leaves an adult family of live sons and three daughters. The funeral takes place this afternoon at Orowaiti Cemetery.
