A washing day tragedy occurred in the suburbs when housewives, who had not identified the “fog” as dust found their newly washed linen streaked and coated with reddish mud. The wind was warm, and the temperatures have been just under 70 degiees. The dust pall is not expected to clear until to-morrow.
