Watersiders’ Conference
AUCKLAND, October 8
To attend the bi-annual conference of the Australian Waterside Workers’ Federation, Mr Alec. Drennan, of Auckland, and Mr T. G. Wells, of Wellington, left by the steamer Duntroon to-day. “We shall be most interested in the Federation’s attitude toward the handling of bulk wheat”, said Mr Drennan, who is national vice-presi-dent of the Watersides’ Union.
