/Our Own . Thei final shoot of the Ross Miniature Rife Club took the form oi a novelty snoot and the presentation oi trophies. Mr R. Jones, president o. the men’s club, thanked all those who had helped in the success ot the past year and looked forward to a similar success next season. Mrs v\. carter, president of the womens club, thanked the men who had attended to the lights at each shoot and presented them with a small gut xrom the ladies’ club. The following trophies were presented:—Tindell Cup (highest handicap score for season), C. Hamilton, Brocklehurst Cup (last 6 nights oxf ritle), C. Hamilton; G. S. Rae Cup, (intermediate section), L. Bailey, Mikonui Cup (under 21), A. Adamson; G. H. Chapman’s Prize (highest score off rifle for season), C. Hamilton; President’s Trophy, L. Bailey; Captain’s Trophv L. Gray; Sealed Number Competition, W. Mitchell, Competition (one night’s shoot), A. Philpott; Club’s Prizes, L. Gray 1, FPierson 2. C. Hamilton holds the I-lotty Button, having won it eight times. . ... , Ladies’ Trophies.—Bailey Trophy (most central bulls), Miss L. Carter; Highest aggregate off the rifle, Miss L. Carter; Highest handicap aggregate, Miss J. Allan; Stark Trophy (highest handicap aggregate over last 10 nights), Mrs L. Leggott; Novelty shoot, Miss W. Foster. Miss L. Carter holds the Hotty Button, having won it seven times. A very enjoyable evening was spent when the Runanga Miniature Riffle Club visited Ross for a return match., The result was a win for Ross by j 1156 to 1129. Following are the scores:—
