Rise in Prices Of Rabbitskins
DUNEDIN, October 5. A small catalogue was submitted to the usual bench of buyers at the sale held to-day. With the exception of summer and milky skins, which sold on a par with last sale, all the better grades showed an increase of up to 18d per lb. The following is the range of prices:— Small to 121 d per lb; third broken to 30id; second broken to 473 d; milky 271 d to 56d; summers 32i]d to 331 d; spring bucks 57d to 65id; spring does 62‘d to 63d; outgoing bucks 73d to 89d; outgoing does 68d to 85d; winters to 92id; weevilly to 231 d; black 32d to 47d; fawns to 32d; hareskins to 24d; hair to 44id; first large ferrets 11/3 each first small ferrets to 7/11 each; inferior ferrets 4d to 3/4 each; first stoats to 7/- each; inferior to average stoats 3d to 2/each. , ,j t Following, sales are to be held monthly.
