Voyages Of Yachts In The Pacific

P-A. AUCKLAND, Oct. 7 Bound for Auckland, a 26ft South African yawl, the “Springbok” left Suva on Saturday afternoon, according to advice received from the Suva Yacht Club. The skipper of the yawl is Mr A. T. Harrison, who is accompanied by Mr Hoareau. The “Springbok” arrived at Suva from Los Angeles on August 28, and her owner, who is a member of the Aeolian Yacht Club in the United States, intends to sail her to South Africa on leaving New Zealand.

The keeler “Te Rapunga” which left Auckland on September 2 on a six-months’ cruise of the South Pacific arrived at Rarotonga on Tuesday. Mr George Dibbern, of Napier, Is the skipper.
