REVOLUTIONARY PLOT IN SOUTH KOREA
(Rec. 9.5). SEOUL, October 5. The South Korean Minister of Home Affairs, Mr T. Y. Yun, said that he had uncovered a “widespread plot to overthrow the Government, and to assassinate Government officials, including President Syngman Rhee, and to take over authority by force”. Mr Yun said that the alleged plot was not of Communist origin. At least four hundred were involved in the scheme. The police had arrested twenty, and others were being.-sought.
