BIG FERTILISER WORKS PLANNED

NAPIER, October 5. It was announced to-day that the Minister of Finance, the Rt. Hon W. Nash, has given consent for the registration of a company for the establishment of a fertiliser works at Napier. The Minister’s approval _is for a company with a capital of £500,000 in £5 shares. It is the intention of the promoters to go ahead with theproject as speedily as possible. The works will be planned with a capacity of over 100,000 tons yearly.
