Mr and Mrs J. Jose left recently td permanently reside in Timaru, after having spent nearly 40 years in Stockton. Their tw T o daughters, Mrs A. Hunter and Mrs J. Pollock reside in Timaru. The good wishes of the residents go with them in their new home. Mr and Mrs H. L. Evans left on Thursday for Christchurch en route to New Plymouth where they will in future reside. They came to New Zealand from Whiles in 1920 and have lived in Stockton for 28 years. They were entertained by numerous friends prior to their departure and were presented with many gifts. Airs Zinnerman, and daughter, of Christchurch, returned recently after spending a holiday witli Mi’ and Mrs Sturgeon, sister and brother-in-law of Mrs Zinnerman.
Miss M. MacArthur is visiting relatives in Nelson.
Mrs A. MacGregor returned recently to Blenhiem after spending a holiday with her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr and Mrs E. Hansen.
Mr and Mrs S. Tweddle returned on Tuesday from Christchurch, and have taken over the residence recently occupied by Mr and Mrs H. L. Evans.
