Savage Music Scholarship

AUCKLAND. October 4. " An Auckland tailor, Mr. Frederick Samuel Hobson, who died in August, left the residue of his estate, £2,000 to provide an annual scholarship for the best students of music at Auckland University College. He directed that the scholarship be called the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Scholarship.

The winner is to receive £2O a year for three years.
