p 4 WELLINGTON, October 4. ’A Pan Pacific jamboree is to be held in Melbourne at Christmas, 1948. and arrangements are well in hand for a representative contingent to attend from New Zealand, says the annual report of the Boy Scouts’ Association. \ . ' Transport difficulties, however, have caused the contingent to be restricted, and it has been decided to send the equivalent of two jamboree troops and a token party of women cubmasters.
