SOUTH AFRICA WARNED TO GET OWN NAVY
(Rec. 10.4(5) LONDON, Oct. 3 Vice-Admiral E. G. McCarthy, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Navy in the South Atlantic said: “As South Africa now has “grown up” it is time that she formed her own Navy, to protect her own trade. This is reported by Reuter’s correspondent at Kimberley, South Africa. Admiral McCarthy said that the Royal Navy was not large enough to protect the whole world.
