Berlin Issue Before U.N.O. Security Council on Monday

LONDON, September 30

The United Nations Security Council will meet on Monday afternoon to begin the debate on the Berlin issue. Mr W. Austin (United States), who will become chairman tomorrow, set the date but the United States delegation stated to-day that Mr Austin will surrender the chair when the council debates the Berlin crisis.

Mr Austin will preside on all questions except Berlin during his October term of office.
