RUGBY FOOTBALL Maketown Club Entertains

The Blaketown Rugby Football Club entertained 50 boys from the sixth to eighth grades in the Blaketown Hall on Wednesday night, and afterwards at a picture screened by Mr M. K. B. Sheard. Mr A. Agnew, president of the Club, addressed the boys on the importance of the club spirit, apd there were other speakers. Tea was provided by the women’s committee.

Both Blaketown Old-Timers’ teams will be chosen from the following.— Dick Olsen, McEnaney, Negri, Hannan, R. Bunt, HJ Mason, Les Cooper, P. Brennan, Pascoe, Agnew, P. McDonald, F. Bell, Boswell, M. Olsen, A. Scott, F. Glenn, E. Elder R. Olsen, W. Preston, W. McMinn, H. Webster, L, Garth, F. Sadler, Kent, D. McDonald, D. Bruhnj G. Goodall, Currie Dowling, E. Preston. Emergencies.— For both teams: C. Preston, F. Garth M. Mason, Lamont, G. Collins. Kick-off at 3.30 p.m. sharp. The following will represent Blaketown sixth grade against Technical to-morrow: —•

Inkster, Veal, Stanton, Gibbons, Ashton (2), Baillie, Hughes, Smith, Biddington, Johnston, Dawson, Hibbs, Outram, Negri, Tinnion, Goodall (2), McNaughton, Thompson.
