Soviet Charge Against Finnish Shooters

LONDON, September 29. The Moscow correspondent of the Associated Press says: “Russia to-day cited Finland for violation of the peace treaty.” A despatch of the Soviet Tass News Agency from Helsinki saiu that the Soviet Minister, M. Savonenko, visited the Finnish Foreign Minister yesterday and called attention to violation of the treaty by shooting and hunting societies in the region of Laikhiya. He alleged that they had organised and conducted military activitj. The Foreign Minister, M. Enckell. replying to the Soviet complaint, said: “The associations will not be disbanded, but measures to remove the grounds of Russian dissatisfaction are under consideration.”
