Bloodhounds to Track Down Criminals?
P.A. WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. Few questions were put in the House of Representatives to-day, but Mr. W. H. Fortune (Nat., Eden), gave notice to ask the Minister of Justice whether, in view of the number of unsolved crimes of violence in this country, he would consider the advisability’ of purchasing suitable . bloodhounds, or other dogs, to assist the police, and thus bring about tne quicker apprehension of criminals.
