Disease Remedy May Promote Cattle Raising in Kenya Colony

(Rec 9.5 p.m.)' LONDON, Sept 25. Mombasa Government research laboratories at Kabete reported that they had made a discovery of worldwide importance in combating the tsetse fly, the dread carrier of sleeping sickness, and also the tsetse fly disease, which kills thousands ol animals each year in the tropics. A vetinerary officer declared that such a discovery would mean that the biggest obstacle would have been overcome in a plan to turn 2000 square miles of Kenya into a vast ranching centre.
