PROBLEM WITH SILVER CUP

LONDON, Sept. 14. One Kent horticultural society cannot find anyone to accept its silver challenge cup. The winner declined it because she has too much silver to clean already and the runner-up and the third prize-winner also rejected it because they had won it previously. The fourth prize-winner eventually accepted it, but returned it the following day without comment. The cup is now back on the secretary’s sideboard.
