Belgian Collaborator Executed in France

(Rec 7.20) LONDON, Sept 18. A firing squad executed Jean Avart, aged 35, a Belgian, for collaboration and supplying the Germans with the names of 200 resistance workers, who were massacred bv Germans.
Prosner de Zitter, a 55-year-old Belgian, who was i'escribed at his trial as one of the most active German spies during the’ occupation, was shot in the back by a firing squad to-day. Zitter mingled with genuine resistance workers and had claimed to -fee a Canadian officer. He w l as responsible for the arrest of 1500 Belgian natriots.
