On Tuesday and Thursday evenings the Westport North and Soiith Schools held two very _ successful fancy dress balls. The prize winners on Tuesday evening were: Kathleen Howard, Noeline Nelson, Brian Findlavson and James McHerron.
The Westport Technical College entertained Ashburton Technical High School students at a social in the Friendlies Hall. It was a great success, and the Ashburton students speak well of the hospitality shown to them by the Buller people.
