Spring Flower Show Attracts Good Entries
Blooms of a high standard were exhibited at the West Coast Horticultural Society's spring flower show, which opened at Wesley, Hall yesterday. Excellent entries were received and the judges had a difficult task in allotting the prizes. The Karoro'•'Women s Institute won a special award and awards of merit went to the Greymouth and Kumara Institutes. The daffodil (open section) for the Kilgour Cup, was won by Mr W. Preston, and in the amateur section, Miss J. Craig won the S. B. White challenge trophy. The judges were:—Daffodils, Mr N. Burn; cut flowers, Mr W.
