Man Steals Suitcase and Clothing from Soccer Team Manager

AUCKLAND, Sept 13. The thief who stole a suitcase and clothing valued at £49 10s from James Owen Wilshaw, manager of the Australian. soccer team, was arrested yesterday, not long after the team had left for Sydney. He was Claud Kennqth Paul, aged 29, a hospital orderly, and, when he appeared before Mr j. H. Luxford in the Police Court this morning, he 1 pleaded guilty to the charge of theft. The accused was sentenced to t six months’ imprisonment, with hard labour.
