Loxton’s 67 not out, made ,in a shade over even time, helped in the morning to carry the Australian score to 522 for seven before Bradman declared. The Englishmen have every chance of carrying the match on to a draw. Edrich and Barnett set a spanking pace when they opened after lunch. They scored 78 runs in just over an hour. Edrich completed an excellent half century which featured welltimed shots all round the wicket.
