EAST EUROPE REGIMES OPPOSE RELEASE OF POLISH DOCTOR
LONDON, Sept. 1. The Polish Embassy here issued a statement claiming that the release from a British prison of Dr Vladislav Dering, a Polish doctor, who was wanted for alleged war crimes by Poland, France and Czechoslovakia, contravened an international obligation on extradition. The statement said the Polish Government reserved the right to take further appropriate action. The Czechoslovak Embassy in London has sent a Note to the British Foreign Office protesting against the release of Dr Dering. . He had been detained in a British gaol for 18 months. Accusations against him range from mass murder to sterilisation of Jewish inmates of a Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz.
