REWARD FAILS TO REVEAL MURDERER OF ROY E. WILKINS

P.A. WELLINGTON, Sept. 3 The indemnity against prosecution, and a £5OO reward for information which were offered in connection with the murder of Roy Edward Wilkins, in Wellington, in April, 1947, expired on Tuesday. The officer in charge of the detective branch at the Central Police Station, Detective Inspector J. B. Young, stated that he had nothing to say when asked to-day whether a renewal of the reward offer was being recommended to the Minister in charge of the Police Department, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser.
