Airways passengers at Westport yesterday were: — From Palmerston North:—Mr P C. Betts. From Wellington:—Mr A. L. Sutherland, Mr A. Aiderton, Mrs B. Scully, Miss Black, Mr E. Svendsen. From Nelson:—Mrs A. Murch. The death has occurred of Mr Alec Simpson, eldest brother of Mrs. M. Knight, of Westport and Mrs A. Bartlett, of Christchurch, He is also survived by his wife and a son. Mr and Mrs J. Hill and Mr S. Wingate left yesterday by car for Christchurch. Mr and, Mrs J. Commerford have returned from Christchurch where they attended their son, Mr Edward Comerford's wedding.
