Nurse Charged After Finding Of Baby’s Body

WELLINGTON, September 2. The sequel to the discovery ,pf a body of an infant child in a garden near a house in Hataitai was the appearance in the Magistrate’s Court to-day of a 24-year-old woman, described in.court as a nurse. The accused, whose name was suppressed, was charged with disposing of the dead body of an infant child by burying it in a private garden at Hataitai with intent to conceal the fact that the mother of the child was delivered of the said child. Detective-Sergeant Hogan said the accused had been arrested this morning. The accused was remanded until September 9, bail being granted on her own surety of £5O.
