DUNEDIN, Aug. 31. The New Zealand training centre of speecr. therapists, which is situated in Christchurch, should be shifted to Dunedin. This is the opinion of Mr R. R. Hunter, a former senior inspector of schools for Otago, who addressed the conference of the New Zealand Speech Therapists’ Association which opened in Dunedin this morning. < ■Mr Hunter suggested that the medical and dental' fraternity and the conference itself should consider the advisability of asking the Government to shift the training school to Dunedin, which was th,e only place in New Zealand where it was possible to obtain'the co-operation of the Medical, School. Dental School, and the Karitane Hospital. The conference, which will continue till Friday, was opened by the Mayor, Sir Donald Cameron, and included a full programme of lectures and discussions._
