GREEK CAMPAIGN AGAINST GUERILLAS
ATHENS, August 29. A General Staff communique claimed that the Greek Army chased out a “powerful guerrilla force’ which yesterday ransacked the-village of Piosotsani in Eastern Macedonia. Greek troops also, captured important positions in the Kaimakchalan range, near the Yugoslav border, and dislodged guerrillas from heights to the north-east of Kastona in West ern Macedonia. They also routed an enemy group on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. -
