U.K. AVIATION EXPERTS ARRIVE

AUCKLAND, August 25 “You have a very fine civil aviation record. I see no reason for any sweeping changes.” These were two guarded comments made by Sir Frederick Tymms, United Kingdom Council member of the International Civil Aviation Organisation, who with two British Government officers arrived by air to study civil aviation in. New Zealand and to report to the New Zealand _ Government. Sir Frederick, who is accompanied by Lady Tymms, expects to be in New Zealand two months. His colleagues are Mr C. J. Warcup and Mr K. T. Spencer. Asked whether he thought land planes would replace flying-boats for the trans-Tasman service, Sir Frederick smiled and said he preferred not to comment.
