Cost of Living In Canada Jumps During June
(Received August 10, 10.10 p.rn.l OTTAWA, August 9. The cost of living index in Canada rose 2.6 points during June to the record level of 156.9 points. The Canadian Bureau of Statistics reported this to-day. It ascribed the jump to sharp increases 'n Rod prices, and moderate increases in the prices of clothing, furniture, fuel and light.
