MILLERTON NOTES
[Our own Correspondent] At the annual meeting the Millerton Bowling Club elected officers as follows: —Patron, Hon. W. PI. McIntyre; president, Mr F. Fox; secretary, Mr P. Taylor; treasurer, Mr W. Milligan; committee, Messrs T. Calder, R. Broad, F. Riddell, and H. Milligan; delegate to centre, Mr F. Peart. Three .Millerton Ranger hockey players are in the Buller team to play the Australians. They are M. Radcliffe, D. Ewart and G. Orman. Locai hockey followers were pleased at the selection of Maisters, of Christchurch, in the New Zealand team, as he played here part of the season before his transfer to Christchurch. Constable. R. Peggie, of Greymouth, has been here on a visit to Mr and Mrs G. Peggie. Millerton Thistle soccer team were recently beaten by Denniston by 3 to 2.
