For being intoxicated while .in charge of a motor-truck, Sealy Tipu Paki, a labourer, aged 22, was fined £2O, and was disqualified from holding a driver’s license for two years, when he appeared at Wainaw-a Police Court before Justices. The prosecution arose from an accident at an intersection, when, according to the police, the, accused’s vehicle was practically wrecked and he was lucky to escape serious injury. For driving without a license a fine of £2 was imposed.
