Greek Army’s Moves To Surround The Communist Forces

ATHENS, August 8.. A general staff communique said that Greek national forces pursuing guerrillas through the Grammes mountains towards Albania, captured several heights in the Nestorian region. A firing squad at Lamia executed a woman and eight men to-day. A court-martial sentenced. three othei’ men to death and two more to life imprisonment. Thirty-eight people in Athens have been arrested and charged with being Communists.
