BADMINTON North Island Final
P. A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 8. Wellington won the North Islanu badminton contest at New Plymouth in the Wisden Cup inter-provincial last night, and will meet Otago, the South Island winner in the National final. Results of yesterday’s matches were ‘ Semi-finals. —Wellington beat Taranaki by ten matches to six; Wanganui beat Auckland by ten matches to six. Final.—Wellington beat Wanganui by fourteen matches to two.
