EIRE’S POSITION DEFINED BY PREMIER

(Rec 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug 6. Defining Eire’s constitutional position in relation to the British Commonwealth, the Prime Minister, rar Costello, in the Dail, yesterday, said their association with the Commonwealth was a free association, and by virtue of its very freedom could be terminated by unilateral action.
