The wheat ship Lodestone, with a cargo of 1000 tons of wheat from Australia, has been diverted to Napier, from Auckland, where she is at present lying in the stream The vessel arrives in Napier on Wednesday. Tomorrow the Auckland watersiders will attend the funeral of Mr Harold Green, w’ho was killed by a fall into the hold of the steamer Eastern at the Export Wharf on Thursday afternoon. The wharves may, therefore, be idle.
