BALKAN RADIO JAMS U.S. FORCES WIRELESS

LONDON, Aug. 3.

The Haifa correspondent of the News Chronicle says that for the last three months a powerful radio transmitted situated in the Balkans has been delibately jamming radio communications between units of the American task force at present in the Mediterranean.

The same station has also jammed an American-operated radio station situated on Mount Carmel. This station is being used by the Unitecj, Naitons field headquarters. Cuonter measures were taken by the American Navy with complete success, but the les powesrful equipment at Mount Carmel cannot cope with the inle’Tuntions.
